PRESENTACIÓN
El objetivo de este proyecto es dar a conocer la riqueza de la literatura del cono sur a través de estas tres escritoras que son referentes indiscutibles en Uruguay, Argentina y Chile. Este proyecto es innovador ya que casi no hay musicalizaciones de estas obras literarias. Ponerle música a esta selección de poemas es como adornar y embellecer aún mas el encanto inherente que poseen.
Compositor
Luego de estudiar en la Escuela Universitaria de Música en Montevideo Leandro Marziotte se muda a Francia en el año 2007, donde obtiene la Licenciatura en Canto en el Conservatorio de Estrasburgo. Más adelante obtiene el Master en Canto en el Conservatorio Real de La Haya en Holanda. Esta etapa de componer música es nueva y al mismo tiempo muy inspiradora. Como cantante de ópera hay que interpretar y encarnar constantemente diferentes personajes, por lo tanto toda esta experiencia ha sido utilizada como herramienta para inspirarse con estos poemas y realizar estas canciones.
Composiciones
El estilo musical de estas obras son el resultado de toda la experiencia que Leandro ha tenido con la música a lo largo de su vida. Comenzando con la guitarra a temprana edad, pasando por la música popular hasta llegar a la música clásica, más precisamente barroca. Todo esto ha generado un estilo único en donde se confunde una sonoridad instrumental del folklore latinoamericano con una melodía vocal con aspectos clásicos. Las obras están compuestas para ser interpretadas con clavecin, viola de gamba, guitarra y voz de contratenor.
El trabajo con el clavecinista Ariel Rychter y la gambista Maria Elena Medina ha sido indispensable para lograr este resultado. Nos hemos dedicado intensamente a buscar las mejores sonoridades e intenciones que estos poemas necesitaban. Sin el aporte de estos grandes músicos nada de esto hubiese sido posible.
Poetisas
Estas tres poetisas nacidas exactamente en las mismas fechas a finales del siglo XIX y en la misma región, han abierto caminos en la literatura femenina. Es evidente que las tres escritoras no son feministas en el sentido moderno de la palabra, pero las tres son transgresoras porque no hacen caso a las normas sociales de la época. Alfonsina Storni se atreve a hablar de la liberación sexual, Gabriela Mistral insiste en la justicia y en educación para las mujeres y Juana de Ibarbourou trata libremente el erotismo. Y las tres comparten la contemplación y adoración a la naturaleza. Todos estos aspectos las hacen mujeres únicas e inspiradoras.
Grabación
La grabación se realizó en Octubre de 2022 en el Auditorio de Granollers en Barcelona.
En dicha grabación, aparte de contar con Leandro con el canto y la guitarra, participaron el clavecinista argentino Ariel Rychter, profesor en el Conservatorio de Ginebra y la violagambista venezolana María Elena Medina, ganadora del Premio Bach 2000 en Alemania. La grabación se realizó con AFP Producciones y el Técnico de Sonido Alfred Fernández Pons, así como con el asistente artístico Pablo Acosta. También hemos contado con la participación en fotos y filmación de Enrique Rojas y la edición de video promocional de Laboina Producccions.
Disco
El disco cuenta con un libro con una introducción, fotos y los diez poemas originales en español y también traducidos al francés y al inglés. Las fotos y diseño de la carátula han sido realizadas por Cristina Quílez. Estos diez poemas musicalizados hablan de la relación de la vida y la naturaleza, de la injusticia, de la consciencia social y por supuesto del amor.

PRÉSENTATION
L’objectif de ce projet est de faire connaître la richesse de la littérature du Cône Sud à travers ces trois femmes écrivains qui sont des références incontestables en Uruguay, en Argentine et au Chili. Ce projet est innovant car la musicalisation de ces œuvres littéraires est quasi inexistante. Mettre de la musique sur cette sélection de poèmes revient à embellir et embellir encore plus le charme inhérent qu’ils possèdent.
Compositeur
Après avoir étudié à l’École universitaire de musique de Montevideo, Leandro Marziotte s’installe en France en 2007, où il obtient un diplôme de chant au Conservatoire de Strasbourg. Plus tard, il a obtenu une maîtrise en chant au Conservatoire royal de La Haye, au Pays-Bas. Cette étape de la composition musicale est nouvelle et en même temps très inspirante. En tant que chanteur d’opéra, nous devons constamment interpréter et incarner différents personnages. Toute cette expérience a donc été utilisée comme un outil pour vous inspirer de ces poèmes et pour réaliser ces chansons.
Compositions
Le style musical de ces œuvres est le résultat de toute l’expérience que Leandro a eue avec la musique tout au long de sa vie. Il commence par la guitare dès son plus jeune âge, passe par la musique populaire jusqu’à atteindre la musique classique, plus précisément baroque. Tout cela a généré un style unique dans lequel une sonorité instrumentale du folklore latino-américain se mêle à une mélodie vocale aux aspects classiques. Les œuvres sont composées pour être interprétées avec clavecin, viole de gambe, guitare et voix de contre-ténor.
Le travail avec le claveciniste Ariel Rychter et la gambiste Maria Elena Medina a été indispensable pour parvenir à ce résultat. Nous nous sommes consacrés intensément à la recherche des meilleures sonorités et intentions dont ces poèmes avaient besoin. Sans la contribution de ces grands musiciens, rien de tout cela n’aurait été possible.
Poétesses
Ces trois poétesses, nées exactement au même moment à la fin du XIXe siècle et dans la même région, ont innové dans la littérature féminine. Il est clair que les trois femmes ne sont pas des féministes au sens moderne du terme, mais toutes les trois sont des transgresseusses car ils ignorent les normes sociales de l’époque. Alfonsina Storni ose parler de libération sexuelle, Gabriela Mistral insiste sur la justice et l’éducation des femmes et Juana de Ibarbourou traite librement de l’érotisme. Et tous trois partagent la contemplation et l’adoration de la nature. Tous ces aspects font d’elles des femmes uniques et inspirantes.
Enregistrement
L’enregistrement a eu lieu en octobre 2022 à l’auditorium Granollers de Barcelone.
À part de Leandro au chant et à la guitare, l’enregistrement fait intervenir le claveciniste argentin Ariel Rychter, professeur au Conservatoire de Genève, et la violagambiste vénézuélienne María Elena Medina, lauréate du prix Bach 2000 en Allemagne. L’enregistrement a été réalisé avec AFP Producciones et le technicien du son Alfred Fernández Pons, ainsi que l’assistant artistique Pablo Acosta. Nous avons également compté avec la participation aux photos et au tournage d’Enrique Rojas et l’édition de la vidéo promotionnelle de Laboina Producccions.

L’album est accompagné d’un livre contenant une introduction, des photos et les dix poèmes originaux en espagnol et également traduits en français et en anglais. Les photos et la conception de la couverture ont été réalisées par Cristina Quílez. Ces dix poèmes mis en musique parlent de la relation entre la vie et la nature, de l’injustice, de la conscience sociale et bien sûr de l’amour.

PRESENTATION
The aim of this project is to make known the richness of the literature of the Southern Cone through these three women writers who are indisputable references in Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. This project is innovative as there is almost no musicalisation of these literary works. Putting music to this selection of poems is like embellishing and adorn even more the inherent charm they possess.
Composer
After studying at the University School of Music in Montevideo, Leandro Marziotte moved to France in 2007, where he obtained a degree in singing at the Conservatory of Strasbourg. Later he obtained a Master’s Degree in Singing at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in The Netherlands. This stage of composing music is new and at the same time very inspiring. As an opera singer you constantly have to interpret and incarnate different characters, so all this experience has been used as an inspiration tool with these poems and to make these songs.
Compositions
The musical style of these works are the result of all the experience Leandro has had with music throughout his life. Starting with the guitar at an early age, going through popular music until he reached classical music, more precisely baroque. All this has generated a unique style in which an instrumental sonority of Latin American folk is mixed with a vocal melody with classical aspects. The works are composed to be performed with harpsichord, viola da gamba, guitar and countertenor voice.
The work with the harpsichordist Ariel Rychter and the gambist Maria Elena Medina has been essential to achieve this result. We have dedicated ourselves intensely to search for the best sonorities and intentions that these poems needed. Without the contribution of these great musicians none of this would have been possible.
Poetesses
These three women poets, born at exactly the same time at the end of the 19th century and in the same region, have broken new ground in women’s literature. It is clear that all three writers are not feminists in the modern sense of the word, but all three are transgressors because they ignore the social norms of the time. Alfonsina Storni dares to speak of sexual liberation, Gabriela Mistral insists on justice and education for women and Juana de Ibarbourou deals freely with eroticism. And all three share the contemplation and adoration of nature. All these aspects make them unique and inspiring women.
Recording
The recording took place in October 2022 at the Granollers Auditorium in Barcelona.
In addition to Leandro on vocals and guitar, the recording featured the Argentinian harpsichordist Ariel Rychter, professor at the Geneva Conservatory, and the Venezuelan violagambist María Elena Medina, winner of the 2000 Bach Prize in Germany. The recording was made with AFP Producciones and sound technician Alfred Fernández Pons, as well as artistic assistant Pablo Acosta. We have also counted with the participation in photos and filming of Enrique Rojas and the promotional video edition of Laboina Producccions.
Disc
The album comes with a book with an introduction, photos and the ten original poems in Spanish and also translated into French and English. The photos and cover design were taken by Cristina Quílez. These ten poems set to music speak of the relationship between life and nature, injustice, social conscience and of course love.
